Operations & Finance Manager

Responsible for streamlining operations, developing efficient processes, and ensuring company-wide consistency in workflows - ensuring that our company moves toward its goals with well structured processes, effective leadership support, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • • Conduct great meetings that are creative, constructive, efficient and productive

    • Evaluate current processes and implement improvements.

    • Develop company-wide playbooks, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    • Facilitate training and onboarding for all employees.

    • Implement organizational systems and oversee accountability.

    • Support leadership in operational planning and strategy.

    • Ensure the company operates efficiently, reducing costs and bottlenecks.

    This role is similar to an orchestra conductor—you don’t need to play every instrument, but you must ensure all teams work in harmony.

  • 1. Organizational Structure & Clarity

    Goal: Create clear company-wide workflows and establish accountability.

    2. Process Improvement & Standardization

    Goal: Eliminate inefficiencies and create a structured approach to all business operations.

    3. Accounting Efficiency, Accuracy, and Reporting

    Goal: Streamline the transition to Quickbooks and integrate all financial budgets, billing, invoicing and reporting into BuilderTrend.

    4. Operational Oversight & Business Growth

    Goal: Support leadership and ensure smooth company-wide operations.

    5. Project Lifecycle Optimization

    Goal: Ensure smooth project initiation, execution, and close-out.

    6. Data Management & IT Standardization

    Goal: Improve accessibility, accuracy, and efficiency in record-keeping.

  • The Operations & Finance Manager must be highly organized, proactive, and capable of overseeing multiple business functions. They must be able to delegate and make strategic decisions on their own.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Process Control, or related field.

    Experience: Residential construction knowledge and process improvement expertise.

    Skills:

    • Strong critical & logical thinking abilities.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication.

    • Proven organizational and leadership skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, BuilderTrend, and AI-based documentation tools.

    • Kan Ban systems

    • One Note expert

    Mindset:
